Week 20- May 4, 2015

This is Elder McMullin's mom and I just realized I didn't post the last two weeks. Sorry we have no pictures to go with the posts. Since he has gotten a new companion, we haven't been able to copy pictures from his companion's blog. Hopefully, he will send some pictures soon!!

So i will start with explaining elder crooks. He is from Texas. Well there you go. Just kidding. Well he loves sports and he loves movies. Sometimes he gives scenes and one liners from movies. its quite entertaining. 

There isnt a ton of things to really talk about this week because we didnt really find any new investigators and most of the ones i have told you about already are very slowly progressing. well i guess one family is progressing much more quickly and that is the family i have told you about multiple times. 

We have taught them just about everything they need to know to be baptized now and they have accepted all the commandments and are living them and everything. It is so cool. They even read and pray as a family. They are the only people i have met here that i know that do it. And the difference it makes is sooo crazy. So keep doing it family. We taught them a couple of the big or i guess hard commandments to keep this week. One was law of chastity and they all agreed but one and it was super unexpected. but we continued talking and eventually she started crying but her mom is a super good mom and talked to her and she agreed now. The only downside is one of them still has a nose ring but we will talk a bit more about that this week. also we talked about the sabbath day. And they are super good with just doing the good things on sunday and everything. Their progress amazes me. Also we are going to talk to them all alone with the mother this week to clear anything up and im so excited for that but at this rate they will be baptized the 16th. 

Another one of our super good investigators might have fallen a bit this week because we talked to someone that said they saw him at a bar and he has struggled with the word of wisdom for awhile so we need to find him today and hopefully talk to him at least by tomorrow. There are a lot of good lessons that i am super excited for this week. 

Well i think thats about it for now and because zuniga isnt my comp you cant find info about us anymore on his blog. i guess that means i need to do better with pictures. ill work on it. Well i hope everything is going well for everyone. Love you all.
